OOC discussion post

It's been a while since I set something like this up, and I made parkerparkour and goblinjr both admin status because you two kind of talked me into this. I thought it'd be nice two threads we've each got going as a jumping-off point and maybe work it all into a storyline or something? I'd be happy to turn both threads into google docs or something for linking here and easy reference. I also wanted you both to have the ability to add/approve members if you find Marvel muses you want to bring into that.

Possibly I should not have set this up and made this post after a twelve-hour workday, I hope that kind of made sense. Feel free to reply here with whatever thoughts and ideas.

H'okay, so! Shall we do some plotting? It seems like we have plenty of ideas flying around, so does anyone have any preferences for how to go about the actual confrontation, any build-up, or where we might want it to go after that?

I know if Harry and Otto end up doing the thing where they secretly make threats on Peter's loved ones, Harry might try to sidle in and at least show some concern to fight off all the feelings of guilt ever cover his butt until they're ready for that confrontation.

Yeeeah, I kind of thought Harry might get cold feet if they start sending MJ and aunt May and all death threats and get them worked up emotionally. But we don't have anybody to play either of them, so that might be up to a thread between Peter and Harry or something.

Because that would be sad if Peter went to Harry about how worried he is for their safety, and Harry had to keep it a secret he's part of the plot to threaten them. Otto will have no compunction about doing the actual sending of threats, though. He doesn't really know or care about them, they're just casualties in the war against Spider-Man.

Feeling outnumbered, parkerparkour? We need to get some more good guys in here to balance out the villains...

Oh, he definitely will. It seems like a good idea in theory, but when it comes to actually doing it/seeing people he cares about in distress, he's going to feel really bad. But yeah, that's what I was thinking, if Pete!mun is up to it!

That would be terrible, but fun to write, I think. Shaaame on you, Otto. No, I kid. Otto already thinks Harry is spineless though, and Harry does not want him to continue to think that, so he's going to be trying really hard to hide it, but that may or may not blow up in his face. Who knooows.

We really do. Poor Peter needs some camaraderie and support.

I'm up to anything!! I honestly love people ganging up on Spider-Man so this whole scenario is great.

The fall out between Harry and Peter would be truly spectacular, that's for sure. Depending on how things go it might be nice for peter to have some backup but I'm content to stat off like this and branch out. I don't now many people on the site.

Although Otto-mun mentioned a potential Bruce so there's that!

Dunno if she's going to play Bruce or not, her job has been stressful and I'm not sure if she's really feeling it. I think Bruce Banner is a fascinating character though, because he kind of walks the line between villains and heroes. I'm not sure I could play him well myself, though. It would be awesome to bring in more Marvel muses, I just don't know any players offhand.
Would you guys be open to Marvel OCs? Assuming they're well-played.

Doood. Well that would help round out the cast, but you also probably don't want to thread with yourself. What are you guys' feeling on OCs?

Was trying to recruit a good player, but my gf also has a good OC that would work well in the Marvel verse and possibly be able to cross the battle lines. In love with your recent post btw!
